Keto Cabbage and Bacon

Very filling side that should be used as a filler when you don't have enough fat in your diet for the day.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Cabbage chopped, 179g
  • ½ Cup Onion chopped, 80g
  • 4 Strips cooked Bacon 32g
  • 2 Tbsp Butter 28g
  • Black Pepper optional

Instructions

  • Place bacon into a cold pan and place it over medium heat. Cook bacon to desired liking and remove from pan. Cool, slice and set aside.
  • Return pan over medium heat, melt butter and add diced onion.
  • Saute onion until soft and translucent.
  • Add cabbage to pan and continue to sauté with the onions.
  • Continue cooking cabbage, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes or until soften.
  • Return chopped bacon to pan and mix until combined.
  • Season with pepper.
