Have you ever had a cheeseburger for breakfast? You’ve probably had pizza for breakfast once or twice in your life, so why not? We put our own spin on the classic cheeseburger to make it perfect for breakfast (or brunch), and keto-friendly on top of it. If you wake up in the morning after a long night of partying, this deliciously greasy burger is the perfect hangover cure. And if you feel like trying something a little different for breakfast, start the day off right with a hot, hearty meal that’ll keep you going all morning.

To make this dish keto-friendly, we’ve swapped out the traditional hamburger bun with two pieces of fresh lettuce. Add a sizzling fried egg and a few strips of crisp bacon, and you’ve got a savory breakfast-inspired dish that’s perfect for any time of the day! Onion, tomato and slices of cheese round out this iconic recipe. If you thought that you couldn’t enjoy hamburgers anymore after you started the keto diet, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how well the flavors are balanced in this dish. With fresh ground beef, sliced vegetables and a crispy-edged fried egg on top, you’ll find that you don’t even miss the bun.
